Whether driving around picturseque towns, sightseeing, riding a ferry or simply exploring around this 7 day self drive itinerary has been meticulously designed so as to cover the best of pacific northwest. An exciting journey guaranteed, come on-board and live up the experience.
Day 1: Vancouver
Pick up your rental car at Vancouver Airport and make your way to the downtown heart of Vancouver.

Day 2: Vancouver - Victoria (64 km plus ferry) 
Spend the day exploring Vancouver before taking the ferry over to Vancouver Island. Take a stroll around Stanley Park, stopping at the Totem Poles; visit Canada Place and the waterfront, Chinatown, historic Gastown and Granville Island with its famous public market, art and craft shops. In the afternoon drive south from Vancouver to Tsawwassen to catch the ferry to Vancouver Island. Keep your camera at the ready during the crossing - orcas, seals and eagles may be spotted.

Day 3: Victoria
Spend your day exploring British Columbia’s Provincial Capital, steeped in colonial heritage. Highlights to visit include from your See Victoria Card include: Craigdarroch Castle, Pacific Undersea Gardens plus many more options are featured in your detailed guidebook that comes along with this sightseeing pass. You may also choose whale watching at a special rate provided to card holders. All of your choices are outlined in your guidebook.

Day 4: Victoria - Port Townsend WA (77 km plus ferry)
Today you will hop on board Black Ball Ferry Lines’ M.V. Coho and enjoy the scenic crossing through the Juan de Fuca Strait to Port Angeles, WA. Please arrive in the terminal 90 minutes prior to departure to allow for customs and security clearance. For a full day in the Olympic National Park, we recommend sailing over on the 6:10 am or 10:30 am vessel from Victoria to Port Angeles. From Port Angeles continue your journey south east on highway 101, eventually exiting on highway 20 towards the charming town of Port Townsend. Spend some time exploring the harbour, sightseeing at one of the many haunted castles or wandering through Port Townsends’ unique shops.

Day 5: Port Townsend - Seattle (93 km)
From Port Townsend, retrace your steps to highway 104 heading south to Bainbridge Island and onto Seattle. This is the most direct route to downtown Seattle, using the Hood Canal Bridge to Bainbridge Island where you will board the Washington State ferry to Seattle for the approximate 35-minute crossing.

Day 6: Seattle
Seattle is known as the “Emerald City”. Some highlights include the University of Washington, Queen Anne Hill, and Historic
Pioneer Square, views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountain Range and the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, which connect Puget Sound with Lake Union. Optional visits could include the Seattle Space Needle, shopping at Pike Place Market, the oldest continually operating farmers market in the United States.

Day 7: Seattle WA - Vancouver (226 km)
Today you will head north back to Canada for a final night. There are great places for shopping and exploring along the way. Two of Washington’s best art communities are found along the way between Seattle and Vancouver. LaConner, in Skagit Valley, offers the opportunity to stroll along the waterfront while checking out art galleries and shops. Farther north along I-5 is the historic district of Fairhaven, located just south of downtown Bellingham.

Day 8: Vancouver [Departure]
Based on your flight times make your way back to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home.
