Wed 13 Mar 24 - Arrive Delhi @ 0845 Hrs.
Arrive at Delhi Indira Gandhi international airport. Welcome to India!!!
Meet and Greet at the airport upon arrival and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Hotel check-in time is at 1400 Hrs.
Delhi is the capital city of India and is regarded as the heart of the nation. The city is popular for its enriched culture and heritage. The city hosts some famous historical monuments and is developing with the passing of time. The influence of religious diversity can be seen in the city along with the cultural impact of the Mughals, the ancient Indians and the British. There are many beautiful gardens in the city that provide opportunities to walk leisurely in the midst of greenery.
This afternoon you will visit Chandni Chowk or Silver Street, often referred to as the food capital of India, famous for its street food. Chandni Chowk resembles a fair; the streets are lined with halwai (sweet sellers), namkeen wallahs (sellers of savouries) and paranthe wallahs (rich, flaky bread soaked in ghee).

Thu 14 Mar 24 - In Delhi
Today you will enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. You will get a feel for this city as you explore its historic sights including Raj Ghat, the Red Fort and Jama Masjid. You will also get the chance to experience the bustling colourful market on a cycle rickshaw. This afternoon you will head into New Delhi, visiting the impressive Humayuns Tomb, the Qutab Minar, India Gate, the Lutyens Delhi, the British Viceroys Palace, the Secretariat, India Gate and Parliament House. This evening, you will visit The Great Kabab Factory to enjoy Kabab. The Great Kabab Factory is an Indian speciality restaurant offering you a unique dining experience.

Fri 15 Mar 24 - Delhi Amritsar (Train: ASR Shatabadi 0720/1330 Hrs.)
After an early morning tea/coffee at your hotel, transfer to New Delhi railway station to board the train for Amritsar. Local snacks, tea or coffee will be served on board. Upon arrival you will be met our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon you will visit a local market to enjoy the taste of Amritsari cuisine (Amritsari Chole & Kulcha, Amritsari Fish Fry).

Sat 16 Mar 24 - In Amritsar
This morning enjoy some free time. You may choose to explore the city at leisure including the spiritual centre of the Sikh religion, the Golden Temple complex (visitors must remove their shoes, wash their feet and cover their heads with a scarf), and Jallianwala Bagh, the site of the infamous massacre that took place in 1919. This afternoon you will take an excursion to Wagah Border to witness the famous border closing ceremony.

Sun 17 Mar 24 - Amritsar Delhi (Train: ASR NDLS 0615/1415 Hrs.)
Delhi Jaipur (Drive: 265 Kms / 5 Hrs. Approx.)
After an early morning tea/coffee at your hotel, transfer to Amritsar railway station to board the train for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi railway station, you will drive straight to Jaipur, the famed Pink City and the capital of Rajasthan known for its palaces, three hill forts and a shopper's paradise.

Mon 18 Mar 24 - In Jaipur
This morning you will take an excursion to Amber, the capital of the old state of Dhundhar, located on the rugged hills surrounding Jaipur. Ride the colourfully painted elephants up the hill, and admire the massive gateways, courts, stairways, pillared pavilions and palaces that recall the glory and wealth of Ambers association with the Mughals.
During the afternoon visit the City Palace (which still houses the erstwhile Royal family); Jantar Mantar the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - built for the royal ladies to watch the activities on the market street below without being observed themselves.

Evening you will enjoy a cooking demonstration (Laal Maans, Rajasthani Sula, Gatta ki Sabzi, Daal Bati- Churma etc). Rajasthani cuisine is a splendid array of unique, rich, colourful, spicy curries and mouth-watering delicious sweets.

Tue 19 Mar 24 - Jaipur Agra (Drive: 235 Kms / 5 Hrs. Approx.)
Drive to Agra, en route visit Fatehpur Sikri the imperial ruins of the dream capital city of the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Evening at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

Wed 20 Mar 24 - In Agra
Visit the Taj Mahal in the morning by sunrise. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631, built one of the world's most famous buildings, the Taj Mahal. Its perfect proportions and exquisite craftsmanship have been described as a vision, a dream, a poem, and a wonder.
Return to the hotel to have breakfast and relax after the sunrise visit of the Taj Mahal.
In the afternoon you will visit the 16th century Agra fort. This commanding red sandstone monument stretches 2.5 kilometres along the banks of River
Yamuna, encompasses serene gardens and terrace pavilions, with striking views providing a glimpse of the magnificent Taj Mahal across the river and the Tomb of Itmad-ud- Daulah.
Evening enjoys Mughlai cuisine (Seekh Kebab, Biryani, Chicken Tikka etc) the taste of Mughlai cuisine vary from extremely mild to spicy, and is often associated with a distinctive aroma and the taste of ground and whole spices.

Thu 21 Mar 24 - Agra Lucknow (Train: Swran Shatabadi 0847/1250 Hrs.)
Transfer from your hotel to Tundla railway station in time to board the train for Lucknow. Local snacks, tea or coffee will be served on board. Upon arrival at Lucknow railway station, you will be transferred to your hotel.
This evening enjoy Awadhi Cuisine (Mutton Biryani, Chakhles Shami Kebab, Makhmali Murgh etc), which has been greatly influenced by Mughal cooking techniques.

Fri 22 Mar 24 - In Lucknow
Today after breakfast you will enjoy the city tour visiting Bara Imambara Bara means big, and an imambara is a shrine built by Shia Muslims for the purpose of Azadari. You will also visit Chattar Manzil or Umbrella Palace, Rumi Darwaza and the Clock Tower The huge tower
was constructed by Nawab Nasir-ud-Din Haider in the year 1880.

Sat 23 Mar 24 - Lucknow Delhi (Train: Swran Shatabadi 1535/2220 Hrs.)
After a morning at leisure, you will transfer from your hotel to Lucknow railway station in time to board your train for Delhi. Local snacks, tea or coffee and Dinner will be served on board. Upon arrival at Delhi railway station, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Sun 24 Mar 24 - Delhi London
