Day 1: Arrival to Lima.

Day 2: Lima - Tarapoto | Transfer to the hotel.
Transfer from the selected hotel to Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima.Domestic flight from Lima to Tarapoto. Upon arrival at Tarapoto Airport, greeted by our team and transfer to Pumarinri Amazon Lodge, located on the banks of the Huallaga River. Tarapoto is a city in the northeastern Peruvian Amazon, known for its patron festivals, excellent cuisine, and as a gateway to the rainforest. In this privileged setting, surrounded by lush vegetation, rivers, and streams, begin a journey through the northeastern Peruvian jungle, marked by breathtaking landscapes and authentic experiences. During the stay, activities vary according to the weekly schedule, so this is a suggested itinerary that can be adapted depending on the day the trip begins. Lunch and dinner included.
Day 3: Visit to Chasuta, Wasichay native ceramics.
On one of the days, head to the Pucayaquillo Waterfalls through a Guided jungle hike that leads to a natural pool of crystal-clear water. Along the way, spot dart frogs, morpho butterflies, isula ants, and giant trees while discovering the secrets of Amazonian biodiversity. In the afternoon, return to the lodge to enjoy the surroundings or participate in an optional activity, depending on availability. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 4: Tarapoto: Hike to Pucayaquillo Waterfalls & Pumarinri Daywalk.
Another day is dedicated to birdwatching during a boat trip along the Huallaga and Mayo Rivers. Guided by a naturalist interpreter, spot species such as toucans, hoatzins, and herons in their natural habitat while navigating one of the country's most vibrant river ecosystems. Depending on the schedule, this experience may alternate with a visit to Chasuta, known as the chocolate jungle, where participation in an artisanal chocolate workshop and discovery of the ancestral legacy of native ceramics at the Wasichay museum and workshop are included. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 5: Tarapoto | Tour rivers, jungle and birds: From Huallaga to Mayo - Lima.
On the last day, explore the surroundings of the lodge on an interpretive walk along the coca route and the Yuracyaquillo Creek. Accompanied by a guide, discover local legends, ancient pools, heliconias, pona palms, and the majestic oj tree. The experience ends with a refreshing swim in a natural pool. After this final connection with the jungle, transfer to Tarapoto Airport for the return flight, carrying the memory of an Amazon experience with all the senses.
