Day 1: Surfing and Yoga Panama/Bienvenidos a Panama

Welcome to Panama! A land that radiates life, perfectly imperfect, and full of authenticity. Where North and South connect, old and new worlds converge, and cosmopolitan landscapes live in harmony with wild and untamed rainforests. On this day, you arrive at Tocumen International Airport. Our representative will meet you to assist you and transfer you to your hotel in Casco Viejo. In case you do not locate our staff, please approach the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) tourist information stand; our staff will be close to this area. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Casco.

Day 2: Behind the Scenes of Miraflores Locks & Casco Viejo
In the morning, you visit the Miraflores Locks, the VIP Experience, where you might see giant ships transiting the canal and learn about the incredible story of its construction. Then you are transferred to Casco Viejo to explore the colonial nooks of Panama City with your local guide. You learn about the local flavours and culture. Lunch included at a local.

Panama Canal behind the scenes
Pick-up at your hotel in Panama City, for a short transfer to Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal. A specialized guide of the Panama Canal meets you there and introduces you to some of the most important and unique details of this marvel of engineering. You learn about the history and construction of the first set of locks and with a little luck you can watch massive vessels transit through the locks. This VIP experience includes access to areas restricted to the public and, weather permitting, gives you the unique opportunity to get a much closer view of the locks and the operations. Please note that the use of long pants and closed shoes is mandatory. A liability waiver needs to be signed, and acceptance and planning of this special experience is subject to approval by canal authorities.

Casco Viejo
Discover the history related to the Spanish Colonization in Panama and local gastronomic traditions. This experience includes a visit to the main highlights of Casco Antiguo with some food tasting that you can't just miss, like Geisha coffee, chocolate made with Panamanian Cacao, Pedro Mandinga rum and the popular"Raspao". Explore Casco Antiguo and its unique vibe, and visit local markets where you are invited to interact with the Panamanians.

Day 3: Chagres National Park and Embera Indians
Today, get ready to explore the beautiful Chagres National Park, where you will meet the indigenous Ember, learn about local customs and the tribe's relationship with nature, enjoying a freshly prepared local lunch.

Take a day away from the city and explore the beautiful Chagres National Park, where you meet the indigenous Embera people who have lived in this part of the world for centuries. You are picked up from your hotel in Panama City and taken to the shores of Lake Madden, before travelling up the Chagres River by Piragua(canoe). Along the way you might see some of the area's wildlife, such as monkeys, sloths, and toucans. On arrival, you are welcomed by the Embera villagers. Over the next few hours, you learn about local customs and the tribe's relationship with nature, enjoying a freshly prepared local lunch. Early afternoon, you return to your hotel in Panama City.

Day 4: Playa Venao, A Pacific Paradise
Today you are transferred to your next destination, Venao Beach, on the Pacific coast of Panama. Delight yourself with a two-night stay in this paradise and enjoy water activities in these wonderful beaches.

Playa Venao (or Venado), is a beautiful stretch of volcanic sand beach on Panama's Pacific Coast, only a short drive from Pedasi. Famous for its surf breaks and with an attractive backdrop of hill and sand forests, Venao has become popular with both tourists and locals in recent years, providing a relaxed vacation with plenty of activities and some lively bars and restaurants. As well as surfing, you can arrange kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling, diving and even whale watching during late spring and summer.
