Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Flight from London Heathrow Airport to Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport
Arrive at Delhis international airport, where our representative will greet you with a traditional Indian welcome with flower garlands. Later, transfer to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Delhi has witnessed some of India's most significant historical events, serving as the capital of great empires, including the Mughals and the British Raj. The city blends Mughal monuments, colonial architecture and modern skylines, while landmarks like the Red Fort and the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk reflect its rich heritage and timeless charm.

Day 2: Delhi to Jaipur
Breakfast at a Hotel. Morning at leisure. Later, transfer to Delhi's Safdarjung railway station to board the Palace on Wheels Luxury Train. 16:30hrs: You check in at Palace on Wheels station to complete the check-in formalities. Boarding formalities are undertaken by our representative at the station. The Palace on Wheels team provides a warm and traditional welcome before boarding the Palace on Wheels Train. You will then be escorted to your cabin and given a brief familiarisation tour by the Khidmatgars with a welcome drink, as we start our week-long journey through Rajasthan. This evening, the Palace on Wheels train departs for Jaipur, with dinner served on board.

Day 3: Jaipur
Breakfast on board the Palace on Wheels train. The Palace on Wheels arrives in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, famously known as the Pink City and founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. An air- conditioned coach takes you to visit the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a striking five-storeyed pink sandstone façade overlooking the old city. This is followed by a visit to Albert Hall and the City Palace, home of the erstwhile royal family. Right across the road from the City Palace is the Jantar Mantar, the largest observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II. Later, enjoy visiting the majestic Amber Fort complex, followed by lunch. You may also shop for Jaipur's renowned jewellery, handicrafts, carpets, blue pottery, and textiles.

Day 4: Sawai Madhopur & Chittorgarh
4:45hrs: The Palace on Wheels arrives at Sawai Madhopur, gateway to Ranthambore National Park, renowned for tiger sightings and rich wildlife. A morning safari is arranged within the park, home to ancient fort ruins and diverse flora and fauna. After the game drive, return to the Palace on Wheels by canter for breakfast on board. Enjoy your lunch served on board as the train proceeds towards Chittorgarh, offering scenic views of the colourful countryside. Evening sightseeing in Chittorgarh, visiting the historic Chittorgarh Fort, including the Victory Tower and Tower of Fame, followed by a sound and light show at the fort. Post-visit return to the Palace on Wheels train by luxury coach. Dinner is served on board. The train remains stationed at Chittorgarh overnight before departing early in the morning for Udaipur.

Day 5: Udaipur
Breakfast on board the Palace on Wheels. This morning, proceed to enjoy Udaipur; sightseeing begins with visits to the Garden of Fountains and the Durbar Museum, followed by lunch at the Fateh Prakash Palace Hotel, renowned for its impressive crystal gallery. Post lunch, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, passing the iconic Lake Palace Hotel, and visit the magnificent City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Evening return to the Palace on Wheels by luxury coach. Dinner will be served on board.

Day 6: Jaisalmer
Breakfast on board the Palace on Wheels. The train will arrive in Jaisalmer this morning. Proceed to visit the golden city of the Thar Desert, founded by Rawal Jaisal in 1156 AD. Visit the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort and explore the beautifully carved Havelis, including Nathmalji-ki-Haveli, Patwon-ki-Haveli and Salim Singh-ki- Haveli. Enjoy your lunch on board the train and then rest for a few hours. Later this afternoon, you will proceed to visit Sam Sand Dunes for a desert experience, followed by refreshments. Post visit, return to the Palace on Wheels by luxury coach for wash and change. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a cultural programme at a palace hotel. After dinner, return to the Palace on Wheels by luxury coach.

Day 7: Jodhpur
Breakfast on board the Palace on Wheels. This morning, you arrive in Jodhpur, the second-largest city of Rajasthan, founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 AD. Visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort, exploring its grand palaces including Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana, followed by a visit to the white marble cenotaphs of Jaswant Thada. Enjoy your lunch at a city hotel. Return to the Palace on Wheels train by luxury coach. Dinner will be served on board.

Day 8: Bharatpur & Agra
Breakfast on board the Palace on Wheels. 6:00hrs: Arrive at Bharatpur, the capital of Maharaja Suraj Mal. Visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a world-famous bird sanctuary home to thousands of egrets, Siberian cranes, migratory waterfowl and other species. Post visit, return for breakfast at Mahal Khas Palace and then return to the Palace on Wheels by luxury coach, & then depart for Agra. Arrive in Agra and visit the historic Red Fort, followed by lunch at a 5-star hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Explore Agra's famous marble inlay work, leather goods and jewellery. Evening enjoy Dinner on board the train, Bid farewell to the train, perhaps with a final drink in the lounge bar.

Day 9: In Delhi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board as the train arrives in Delhi. Disembark approx 7:30hrs at Safdarjung Railway station, Delhi. Meet upon arrival at the train station and transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure for last-minute shopping.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to Delhi airport to board your flight for your onward journey.
