Queen Elizabeth Park
Queen Elizabeth Park is a spectacular 52-hectare (130-acre) city park, with wonderful views of the city, sea, and surrounding
mountains. It is located on top of Little Mountain, approximately 125 meters above sea level and is a former quarry dug in the beginning of the twentieth century to provide building materials for the city. Amazingly this site has been transformed into gardens containing lawns, flowers, and trees from around the world.

By car: The Capilano Suspension Bridge is conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver through Stanley Park, over the
Lions Gate Bridge and north 1.6km on Capilano Road. From the Trans-Canada Highway, heading west, take the Capilano Road exit #14 and travel north 800m. A free year-round shuttle operates from downtown Vancouver. Peak season May to September,10 to 15 minute frequency, and off-season October to April, departures every 30 minutes. By public transit: Depart from Waterfront Station Vancouver on the Seabus heading Northbound to Lonsdale Quay Seabus Station. Transfer to bus #236 "Grouse Mountain" located at Bay Take this bus to the Capilano Suspension Bridge (3735 Capilano Road). Transit time is approximately 30 minutes.
