Welcome to Los Angeles. On the eve of this incredible journey you will meet up with your fellow riders for an orientation meeting at the hotel as we prepare to ride through some of the greatest and undisturbed desert roads left in North America. Your tour guide will provide you a thorough overview of what to expect in the coming days and answer any last minute questions you may have. Im sure there may also be cold drink or two to be shared.

Thu 06 Mar 25 - Los Angeles, CA Ensenada
After our welcome breakfast we pick up our motorcycles from EagleRider. Shortly after we are on the road cruising south along the California coastline to the border at Tijuana, Mexico. After crossing into Mexico, we will reach our final destination for today, the bustling port town of Ensenada. Tonight we will enjoy a delicious gourmet dinner made fresh from the local catch. Watch the sunset over Ensenada Bay and it wont take you long to realize you are on the cusp of something special.

Fri 07 Mar 25 - Ensenada Catavina
We head south on Mexico Highway 1 leaving the busy border towns behind as we ride south. We dive deeper into Baja where Cirio trees and giant Cardon cacti begin to appear alongside the road. We enter the Vizcaino Desert, one of the most fascinating desert regions on this continent, and experience expansive views of boulder formations, rugged hills and dense desert vegetation. We arrive in Catavina just in time to watch the desert sunset behind huge boulders and Cardon cacti. We have a long ride tomorrow so be sure to get a good nights rest.

Sat 08 Mar 25 - Catavina San Ignacio
Today we cross the state line from Baja Norte into Baja Sur. You will notice a change in landscape as we ride over several 3,000 foot summits, past flat topped volcanic cones and cactus covered hills into the charming pueblo San Ignacio, an authentic desert oasis located at the bottom of a wide arroyo with date palms and a natural spring fed pond where we overnight.

Sun 09 Mar 25 - San Ignacio Loreto
Ahead of us this morning is the massive Volcan Las Tres Virgenes which tells us the origin of recent lava flows around us. We descend Devils Grade, seven miles of switchbacks that take us down to the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez. Winding along the shores beautiful Bahia Conception, one further scenic delight of Baja California, with deep-blue waters, volcanic islands and isolated beaches. In the afternoon we reach Loreto which is the oldest Spanish settlement along the West Coast. The town offers a picturesque central plaza, shopping and a selection of excellent restaurants.

Mon 10 Mar 25 - Loreto - La Paz
Today we continue through the desert on Hwy 1 through Ciudad Constitucion where we stop for lunch. Our afternoon ride will take us east across the broad desert expanse over to the coast of the Sea of Cortez and La Paz. La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur, a Mexican state on the Baja California Peninsula. Its known for its seafront Malecn promenade with beaches, parks, and art.

Tue 11 Mar 25 - La Paz Cabo San Lucas
Under the shadow of Cerro del Venado we roll into San Jose del Cabo and down the coast of Bahia San
Lucas which was a favorite hiding place for pirates who laid in wait for Spanish treasure ships in the 16th and 17th century. Today our destination is the popular resort town of Cabo San Lucas and we are here to enjoy it all. Just before arriving in Cabo we get a view of Lands End,' the southernmost tip of the Baja peninsula!

Our afternoon ride will take us east across the broad desert expanse over to the coast of the Sea of Cortez and Loreto. Founded in 1697 by Jesuit Missionaries, Loreto is the oldest Spanish settlement on the Baja peninsula. On our way, we will ride some of the best twisty roads through the mountains of Sierra de la Laguna to the picturesque historic mining town of El Triunfo and one of the best coffee shops in Baja.

Sat 15 Mar 25 - Loreto - Guerrero Negro
We continue north on Mexico Highway 1 with Conception Bay on our right. We'll stop at one of the beautiful sandy coves where you can take a dip in the warm waters. Lunch will be in the small village of Mulege, a cute traditional Mexican Town located at the mouth of a river. Back on the road we ride via Santa Rosalia to San Ignacio where we take an ice cream break in the town plaza. From San Ignacio we continue across the barren Vizcaino desert to our hotel in the town of Guerrero Negro, just south of the Baja California Sur state border. The area around Guerrero Negro is part of the El Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve, designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993, which encompasses bays, lagoons, vast expanses of the Sonoran Desert and the rugged Sierra Mountains. Scammon's Lagoon is an important breeding and birthing site for the California gray whale.

Our ride continues north on Highway 1 through the vast desert landscape of Valle de los Cirios. The desert is full of a large variety plants including the Dr. Suess-looking Cirio tree. At laguna Chapala we will pick up Hwy 5 and head up the north east side of the peninsula along some of the nicest costal roads in all of Baja. Mon 17 Mar 25 - San Felipe - Tecate
Today we wave good bye to the Sea of Cortez and head inland. We will watch the desert slowly turn into a greener landscape as we head into Valle Guadelupe Mexicos largest wine producing region. After a relaxing lunch in the Valle and some shopping we will head north to the town of Tecate. Mexico has a designation for villages that retain their cultural heritage and original architecture calling them Pueblo Magico. Tecate has been awarded this designation.
