Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi's International Airport, where our representative will greet you with a traditional Indian welcome with flower garlands. Later, transfer to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Board the Maharajas Express at Delhi - Agra
Welcome aboard the Maharajas' Express. Early this morning transfer from your Hotel to Safdarjung Railway Station to board the Maharaja Express Luxury Train. 7:00hrs - Assemble at the Safdarjung Train station and complete your registration and check-in formalities. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a welcome drink and the local band playing as you board the Maharajas Express. The Maharajas Express departs Delhi at approximately 8:15 hours for Agra. As you arrive in the City of Mughal Splendour, visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is an architectural masterpiece crafted entirely in white marble. Return to the Maharajas Express or you may choose to participate in the optional activities. Lunch and dinner on-board. Day 3: Agra - Ranthambore
Early this morning, disembark the train to visit the exquisite Agra Fort. Later, enjoy a relaxed breakfast on board as you travel to your next destination, Ranthambore. Lunch will be served on board the train. Arrive in Ranthambore and enjoy a game drive in Ranthambore National Park, once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Famous for its wildlife, the park offers chances to spot tigers, leopards, deer, sloth bears, and other animals in their natural habitat. Safaris are conducted in open vehicles and can be bumpy and dusty, so warm clothing is recommended during the winter months. Return to the Maharajas Express for dinner on board and then proceed to Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board before arriving in Jaipur for a traditional welcome. Visit the magnificent Amber Fort, a splendid blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture, and explore its royal apartments, the famous Sheesh Mahal, and the Hall of Victory. Return to the train for lunch, followed by leisure time on board or optional activities. Later in the evening, proceed for an exclusive dinner at Rambagh Palace, the former residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, renowned for its royal splendour, marble latticework, and beautiful gardens. After dinner, return to the Maharajas' Express to continue your journey to Bikaner.

Day 5: Bikaner
Enjoy your journey through the countryside with breakfast on board. Arrive in the desert citadel of Bikaner, where you may relax on board or choose to participate in optional activities. Enjoy your lunch on board. Post lunch, visit Junagarh Fort, the magnificent 16th-century fortress built by Raja Rai Singh, renowned for its beautifully decorated palaces and halls, including Diwan-i-Khas, Phool Mahal, and Anup Mahal. Later, enjoy a royal desert experience with a camel-cart convoy to the sand dunes for cocktails, a traditional barbecue dinner, and colourful folk performances by the Langaas and Kalbeliyas. In the evening, return to the Maharajas' Express to continue your journey to Jodhpur.

This morning, the Maharajas' Express continued its journey into the Marwar region. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a relaxed morning on board, or choose to participate in optional activities and then return to the train for lunch. After lunch, visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, renowned for its intricate lattice windows, carved panels, and grand arches. Later, enjoy a walking tour of the colourful Clock Tower Market, arriving by tuk-tuk and experiencing the vibrant local lifestyle, old houses, and traditional havelis along the way. Enjoy an exclusive cocktail evening with sumptuous Marwar culinary delights at Khaas Bagh, a charming heritage hotel. Later, return to the Maharajas' Express as it continues its journey to picturesque Udaipur.

Day 7: Udaipur
This morning, wake up in the picturesque Mewar region, one of the royal states of Rajputana. Admire the magnificent landscape of the Aravalli Hills over a leisurely breakfast as the Maharajas' Express arrives in Udaipur, the enchanting City of Lakes. Disembark the train and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola before visiting the magnificent City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Explore its ornate balconies, arches, peacock mosaics, mirror work, and royal chambers, along with the Crystal Gallery and Darbar Hall, with an audio guide. After the excursion, enjoy lunch at the Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace, experiencing the royal hospitality of Mewar along with a selection of Indian and international cuisine. Return to the Maharajas' Express for a relaxed evening on board or optional activities. Later, enjoy a Cultural Indian Evening as the train will depart to Mumbai.

Enjoy a relaxed morning on board before disembarking at approximately 16:35hrs at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai, India's financial capital. Bid farewell to the Maharajas' Express as your The Indian Splendour journey comes to an end, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this royal experience. Meet upon arrival at the train station and transfer to your Hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure to explore Mumbai independently.
