Day 1: India: Golden Triangle to Varanasi/Arrive Delhi & Old Delhi Sightseeing
Flight from London Heathrow Airport To Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport
Arrive at Delhi International Airport at 09:10 hrs. You will be met and assisted by our representative and transferred by private air-conditioned car to your hotel. Check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, allowing time to relax and recover from the overnight flight and jet lag. Delhi, the capital of India, is a fascinating blend of centuries-old history and modern city life. From grand Mughal monuments and historic neighbourhoods to lively markets and wide ceremonial avenues, the city offers a wonderful introduction to India. The remainder of the day is kept free to rest and settle in after your international journey.

Day 2: Delhi Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day exploration of Old and New Delhi. Begin with a visit to Raj Ghat, the peaceful memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, situated on the banks of the River Yamuna. Continue with a drive past the magnificent Red Fort, the impressive 17th-century Mughal fortress built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Enjoy a traditional cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of Old Delhi's oldest and liveliest markets, offering a glimpse into the city's centuries-old trading traditions and vibrant local life. Continue to Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of early Mughal architecture. Built in the 16th century, this magnificent garden tomb is widely regarded as an architectural inspiration for the Taj Mahal. Later, visit the soaring Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Delhi's most impressive monuments, rising to 72.5 metres and adorned with intricate carvings and inscriptions. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India, before continuing to India Gate, the iconic war memorial commemorating Indian soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War. Return to your hotel.

Day 3: Delhi Jaipur by Surface
(Approx. 270 Km, 5 Hrs) After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and famously known as the Pink City. Fun fact: Jaipur was painted pink in 1877 to welcome the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, and the colour became one of the city's most recognisable features. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Later, spend the evening with a local Indian family, experiencing everyday family life and learning to prepare traditional Rajasthani dishes together. Join the family as they prepare and enjoy dinner, sharing food and conversation and gaining an authentic insight into the warmth and traditions of an Indian home.

Day 4: Jaipur Full-Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Begin with Amber Fort, dramatically positioned on a hill overlooking Maota Lake. Enjoy a shared Jeep ascent to the fort and explore its magnificent courtyards, palaces and richly decorated interiors. Return to the city and visit the City Palace, the former royal residence of Jaipur's ruling family. Continue to Jantar Mantar, the remarkable astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Conclude with a photo stop at the iconic Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds. The remainder of the evening is at leisure.

Day 5: Jaipur Agra by Surface via Abhaneri
(Approx. 240 Km, 5 Hrs) After breakfast, check out and drive to Agra. En route, stop at Chand Baori Stepwell in the village of Abhaneri. This spectacular ancient stepwell is one of Rajasthan's most remarkable examples of traditional water architecture. Continue onwards to Agra. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Later, enjoy sunset views of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, located across the Yamuna River, providing a beautiful perspective of the monument away from the main complex.

Day 6: Agra Taj Mahal & Mughal Heritage
Rise early for a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal. Witness the monument as the morning light gradually illuminates its white marble facade, creating one of the most memorable experiences of your journey. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, visit Agra Fort, the imposing red sandstone complex that served as the principal residence of the Mughal emperors. Continue to Itmad-ud-Daulah, popularly known as the Baby Taj, admired for its delicate marble inlay and intricate craftsmanship. Later, enjoy a marble inlay artisan demonstration, and see how skilled craftsmen create beautiful designs using marble and coloured stones, a traditional art of Agra.

Day 7: Agra Varanasi by
(Train: Vande Bharat Express 0600/1300 Hrs) Early this morning, transfer to the railway station to board the Vande Bharat Express in Executive AC Chair Car for Varanasi. The train journey offers a comfortable and efficient way to travel eastwards towards India's spiritual heartland. Upon arrival at Varanasi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a private boat ride on the River Ganges to witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. As priests perform the elaborate evening ritual with lamps, incense, and chanting, the ghats become illuminated against the river, creating one of India's most atmospheric cultural experiences.

Day 8: Varanasi & Sarnath
Begin the morning with a private sunrise boat ride on the River Ganges. As the city awakens, observe pilgrims performing their morning rituals along the ancient ghats while the first light of day illuminates the temples and historic riverfront. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, proceed to Sarnath, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in India and the place where Buddha is believed to have delivered his first sermon. Visit the Dhamek Stupa and Sarnath Museum before returning to Varanasi.

Day 9: Varanasi Ancient Lanes & Silk Weaving Experience
After breakfast, explore the historic heart of Varanasi on a guided walking tour through its ancient lanes and neighbourhoods. Discover the atmosphere around the Kashi Vishwanath Temple corridor and visit the Durga Temple, an important Hindu shrine known for its distinctive red architecture. Later, experience one of Varanasi's most distinctive traditions with a visit to a traditional Banarasi silk handloom weaving village. Meet local artisans and observe the painstaking process of creating the intricate silk textiles for which Varanasi is famous. Return to your hotel.

Day 10: Varanasi Delhi by Vande Bharat Express
(Train: Vande Bharat Express 0600/1300 Hrs) After an early breakfast, transfer to Varanasi Railway Station to board the Vande Bharat Express to New Delhi in Executive AC Chair Car. Upon arrival in Delhi at approximately 1300 hrs, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Aerocity. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax before your international departure.
