Day 1:Golden Triangle/Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi's International Airport, where our representative will greet you with a traditional Indian welcome - flower garlands, a warm smile, and perhaps a fragrant sprinkling of rose water. After an assisted transfer, check into your hotel (check-in 14:00hrs). The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing time to unwind or wander through the nearby streets. About Delhi: Delhi has been the stage for some of India's most important historical events, serving as the capital of empires from the Delhi Sultanate to the Mughals and later the British Raj. The city is a patchwork of architectural eras: Mughal forts, colonial avenues, and modern skyscrapers. Day 2:Delhi
After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided city tour of Old and New Delhi. Raj Ghat: Begin at the serene memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, where an eternal flame honours the father of the nation. Imagine the quiet courage of the man who led a billion people to independence. Red Fort: Drive past this sprawling citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and symbol of Mughal power. Emperor Shah Jahan once watched royal ceremonies and military parades from its red sandstone balconies. Chandni Chowk: Hop on a cycle rickshaw and weave through narrow lanes where traders have sold spices, silks, and sweets since the 17th century. The scent of cardamom and incense fills the air, and street food vendors carry forward culinary traditions that are centuries old. Delhi Metro: Experience modern India with a short metro ride, contrasting the old-world charm with the city's contemporary pulse. Lunch at a local restaurant (included). Qutub Minar: Standing at 725 metres, this 12th-century victory tower commemorates Muslim rule and architectural ingenuity. Its intricate inscriptions tell stories of emperors and artisans who carved verses from the Quran into red sandstone. Dilli Haat: A vibrant open-air market showcasing crafts from all corners of India-watch weavers create intricate patterns, potters mould clay, and artisans carve wood. Rashtrapati Bhawan & India Gate: Drive past the grand Presidential Palace and visit the war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War I. Gurdwara Bangla Sahib: Conclude the day with a visit to this golden-domed Sikh temple, where the langar (community kitchen) serves thousands daily, a beautiful living tradition of equality and service. Return to the hotel for an evening of rest.

Day 3:Delhi - Agra (Drive: 210 km / approx. 4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Agra, pausing enroute for tea or coffee (included). Arrive in Agra and check into your hotel. Lunch at your own expense. About Agra: Welcome to Agra - the city of the Taj Mahal and a jewel of Mughal architecture. Founded in the early 16th century, Agra flourished as the capital of the Mughal Empire and remains home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri. Sightseeing: Agra Fort: Explore this formidable red sandstone citadel. Emperor Akbar built it as a military base, but Shah Jahan added palaces and halls of exquisite beauty. Legend says Shah Jahan was imprisoned here by his son Aurangzeb, gazing longingly at the Taj Mahal across the river. Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb: Often called the "Baby Taj," this marble mausoleum predates the Taj Mahal and is famed for delicate pietra dura inlay and refined Mughal garden design. Taj Mahal: Visit at sunset for an unforgettable view. Built by Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal, it is said that the emperor envisioned a matching black marble mausoleum across the Yamuna River for himself- a vision never realised due to history's twists. Day 4:Agra - Jaipur (Drive: 245 km / approx. 5-6 hrs)
Depart for Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri: Akbar's magnificent 16th-century capital, now a ghost city, reveals a blend of Persian, Hindu, and Mughal architecture. Its Buland Darwaza is one of the tallest gateways in the world, and the city's palaces and mosques are steeped in tales of royal strategy and courtly intrigue. Legend says a Sufi saint's blessing inspired Akbar to build this city. Lunch: Stop in Bharatpur or at Laxmi Vilas Palace for a meal infused with Rajasthani flavours. Continue to Jaipur and check into your hotel. Optional: take a rickshaw ride through the Pink City markets, where every street hums with colour and sound. About Jaipur: Jaipur, the enchanting Pink City founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, radiates royal charm and architectural brilliance. Day 5:Jaipur
Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight: (Group excursion) Optional Hot air balloon flight: Early this morning, between 04:30hrs and 05:00hrs, you will be collected from your hotel for a spectacular one-hour sunrise hot air balloon flight over Jaipur's countryside. Drift serenely above lush fields, traditional villages, and rolling hills in a state-of-the-art Ultra magic balloon, guided by internationally certified pilots. Enjoy light refreshments before take-off and admire the golden hues of sunrise and sweeping rural landscapes from above. After landing, return to your hotel in time for breakfast. After breakfast, journey to Amber Fort by jeep, followed by a day of sightseeing. Amber Fort: Built by Raja Man Singh I in 1592, the fort fuses Hindu and Mughal architecture with stunning mirror work and panoramic views over Maota Lake. Day 7:Depart Delhi
Delhi - Kalka (Superfast Train: Shatabdi Express 07:40 - 11:40 hrs) Kalka Shimla (Toy Train: 11:55 - 16:45 hrs) Early morning, after tea and coffee, you will be collected from your Delhi hotel by our representative and escorted to New Delhi Railway Station with a packed breakfast to board the Shatabdi Express train to Kalka at 07:40 hrs. A complimentary hot breakfast will also be served onboard. 11:40 hrs Arrive at Kalka. Meet our representative upon arrival and board the famous Toy Train to Shimla at 11:55 hrs (non-air-conditioned). Due to limited luggage space on the toy train, your main luggage will be transferred separately by car. Sit back and enjoy the charm of this old-world journey through lofty pine forests and misty hills. The 96 km narrow-gauge route passes through 103 tunnels and across more than 800 bridges and viaducts, offering some of the most scenic mountain views in India. This historic line, once called "The Crown Jewel of Indian Railways", is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 16:45 hrs - Arrive at Shimla. Welcome to the Queen of the Hills, a former British summer capital known for its colonial architecture, scenic beauty, and cool mountain air. Upon arrival, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the evening is at leisure to relax or explore the surroundings.
