The Langar at the Golden Temple in Amritsar is one of the largest and most well-known community kitchens in the world. It is an integral part of Sikh tradition, serving free meals to thousands of peopleevery day, regardless of their religion, caste, or background.

Both men and women are required to cover their heads when entering the temple complex. You can dothis by wearing a scarf, bandana, or cap. If you dont have one, scarves are available for free at theentrance of the Golden Temple for visitors to use.
Your shoulders and knees should be covered at all times. This applies to both men and women.

Jallianwala Bagh - This is a public garden that memorializes the tragic massacre that occurred in 1919when British General Dyer ordered the firing on a crowd of unarmed Indians protesting British colonialrule. The site still retains bullet marks on its walls, reminding visitors of the event's significance. Walkthrough the garden, visit the memorial, and learn about this pivotal event in Indias struggle for independence.
Durgiana Temple - A beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, it resembles the architecture of the Golden Temple, though it is not as widely known. Visit the temple to experience the peace and beauty ofthe surroundings, and explore the temple complex.
Partition Museum - is a poignant tribute to the people who lived through the painful partition of Indiain 1947. It holds photographs, stories, and personal accounts from survivors.
Wagah Border - Located around 30 km from Amritsar, the Wagah Border marks the boundary betweenIndia and Pakistan. Every evening, both Indian and Pakistani soldiers conduct the flag-loweringceremony in a highly charged and ceremonial manner.

After Dal Lake, head to Bhagsu Waterfall, located in the Bhagsunag village. This picturesque waterfall isa short hike from the main market and is surrounded by lush greenery. Its a great spot to relax andenjoy the natural beauty.
Located near the waterfall, Bhagsunag Temple is one of the oldest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.The
temple has historical significance, and its peaceful surroundings make it a perfect spot to experiencelocal spirituality.
After visiting Bhagsunag, head up to McLeod Ganj (Upper Dharamshala), which is about a 15-minutedrive or a 30-minute uphill walk from Bhagsu. Here, you can enjoy a variety of food options, rangingfrom local Tibetan delicacies to international cuisine.
The Dalai Lama Temple, also known as Tsuglakhang Temple, is one of the most significantattractions in McLeod Ganj. This is the residence of the 14th Dalai Lama, and the temple complex is aplace for meditation and spiritual reflection. Visitors can explore the temple, the Tibetan Museum(located nearby), and the surrounding gardens.

Kangra Fort - the oldest and most significant forts in India, Kangra Fort dates back to around the 4th century. It was built by the Katoch dynasty and has witnessed numerous battles. The fort offersstunning panoramic views of the Kangra Valley and the Dhauladhar mountain range.
Located near the Kangra Fort, Mata Brajeshwari Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and isdedicated to Goddess Brajeshwari. The temple is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus.
Kangra Valley - Known for its scenic landscapes, Kangra Valley is surrounded by the Dhauladharmountains and lush green tea gardens. The valley is ideal for trekking, nature walks, and photography.
Post visit continue drive to Pragpur - is a quaint village located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh,India. Viceregal Lodge Indian Institute of Advanced study:- The site for Viceregal Lodge was selected by LordLytton the Viceroy of India between 1876 -1880. The Viceregal Lodge, also known a Rashtrapati Niwas islocated on the Observatory Hill of Shima. It was formerly the residency of the British Viceroy of India. Itwas designed by British architect Hendry Irwin and built in the Jacobe than style during the regime ofLord Dufferin. Its construction stared in 1880 and completed in 1888.
Jhakhu Temple/ Hill (2455 Mts.): This is the town's highest peak and a vantage point for Shimla'sfamous views. The summit is crowned with a temple dedicated to monkey God Hanuman. This also offersa very good view of the Shimla with snow capped mountains. One legend goes that Lord Hanumanstopped there to rest while he was searching for the Sanjivni Booti to revive Lakshman in the EpicRamayana.

It's one of the most photographed monuments in the world and offers breathtaking views at sunrise andthroughout the day. Youll have time to stroll around the gardens, visit the main mausoleum, and capturesome memorable photos.
If youre interested in photography, youll get great photo opportunities around the main dome andreflecting pools. The early morning hours are usually less crowded.
Post visit enjoy your lunch on direct payments and then proceed to visit Agras Impressive Fort. The Agra Fort is a massive red sandstone fortress and another UNESCO World Heritage site. Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat which is located on the banks of the river Yamuna, This is MahatmaGandhis Memorial, where he was cremated following his assassination in January 1948. The memoriallies in the midst of landscaped gardens and made of a simple square platform of black marble inscribedwith his last words Hey Ram.
Drive pass Red Fort the 17th century imposing fortress built in red sandstone is surrounded by a hugeboundary wall 33m high. Inside are exquisite palaces and beautiful gardens. Board the 'CycleRickshaw' for a unique experience from the Red Fort, through "Chandni Chowk" or Silver Street,experiencing the sights and sounds of this very busy avenue-heading west from the Fort.
Humayuns Tomb Humayuns Tomb, Delhi is the first of the grand dynastic mausoleums that were tobecome synonyms of Mughal architecture with the architectural style reaching its zenith 80 years later atthe later Taj Mahal. Humayuns Tomb stands within a complex of 27.04 ha. that includes othercontemporary, 16th century Mughal garden-tombs such as Nila Gumbad, Isa Khan, Bu Halima, Afsarwala,Barbers Tomb and the complex where the craftsmen employed for the Building of Humayuns Tomb.
Qutub Minar the landmark of Delhi, a huge tower of victory started in 1199 and completed in 1368. The Minar is 72.5m high with a diameter at the base 14.4m and 2.7m at the top.
Later proceed to Rashtrapati Bhawan (Drive Pass) once the Viceroys residence and now the officialresidence of the President of India. Designed by Lutyens, it combines western and eastern styles thedome reflects the Buddhist stupa, the chhattris Hindu and the graceful colonnades very British. It has340 rooms.
The India Gate commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. 13516names of British and Indian soldiers killed in the Afghan War of 1919 are engraved on the arch andfoundations. Under the arch, glows the Amar Jawan Jyoti flame commemorating Indian armed forceslosses in the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.
