Itinerary:
Day1: UK to Colombo

Day2: Welcome Sri Lanka Arrival & Proceed to Chilaw
On arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will be met by a professional English speaking driver.After the formalities at the airport, you will be escorted to your hotel in Chilaw with the air-conditioned vehicle.Upon arrival check into the hotel and relax.
Overnight at the Anantaya Resort & Spa in Chilaw.

Day3: Chilaw / Kalpitiya / Chilaw
Today after breakfast, visit Kalpitiya. Kalpitiya is a beautiful stretch of land cocooned in the middle of a beach and a lagoon. Mostly untouched by tourism, Kalpitiya is a small town with a long history. The Dutch Fort and the numerous churches around the area is evidence of the city’s’ rich background and colonial past.  Enjoy your Dolphin and Whale watching tour.  As the optional, you can enjoy Snorkeling at St. Anne"s Reef, fishing, kite surfing, kayaking, cycling, water skiing, wind-surfing or take a jeep ride along the deserted sand dunes. The larger islands around Kalpitiya are accessible by boat which enables visitors to go Island hopping to familiarize themselves with the fisherman’s way of life. If island hopping is not your cup of tea, you may also visit the marine sanctuary which is a short car ride away and boasts legions of rare fish. On completion, return to the hotel and relax.

Day4: Chilaw / Jaffna
Today after the breakfast, leave the hotel for a long drive to Jaffna. Once arrive, check-in to the hotel and relax.

Day5: Jaffna
After the breakfast, leave the hotel for a sightseeing tour of Jaffna. Jaffna is a city on the northern tip of Sri Lanka. Nallur Kandaswamy is a huge Hindu temple with golden arches and an ornate gopuram tower. By the coast, star-shaped Jaffna Fort was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and later occupied by the Dutch and British. Jaffna Public Library is a symbol of the
city’s post-war regeneration. Jaffna Archaeological Museum has Dutch cannons and pre-colonial artifacts. Visit the famous Jaffna Fort. Jaffna Fort is a fort built by the Portuguese at Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1618 under Phillippe de Oliveira following the Portuguese invasion of Jaffna. Visit the ‘Nallur Kandaswamy temple’. Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil is one of the most significant Hindu temples in the Jaffna District of Northern Province, Sri Lanka. It stands in the town of Nallur. Then continue to Jaffna Public Library. It is one of Jaffna's most notable landmarks and is run by the Jaffna Municipal Council.

Day6: Jaffna / Point Pedro / Nagadeepa /Jaffna
Today leave the hotel and visit Point Pedro. Point Pedro is a town, located in Jaffna District, Sri Lanka, at the northernmost point of the island. Cotton is produced around Point Pedro in the fertile calcic red latosol soils. On completion, visit Nagadeepa. Nagadeepa Purana Vihara is an ancient Buddhist temple situated in Jaffna district of Northern Province, Sri Lanka. It is among the country"s sixteen holiest Buddhist shrines.
Return to the hotel and overnight at the Jetwing Jaffna in Jaffna.

Day7: Jaffna / Dambulla
After the breakfast, leave for Dambulla. Check-in to the hotel and relax.
Overnight at the Amaya Lake in Dambulla.

Day8: Dambulla / Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Dambulla
After breakfast visits the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Frescoes. (Approx. Transfer time: 1 TO 2 HRS) Built by an obsessed monarch in the 5th century, Sigiriya or Lion Rock is an astonishing feat of engineering and construction. Set in the cultural hear of Sri Lanka, Sigiriya rises a sheer 200 metres above a forested plain, its flattened summit sloping gently. Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982, Sigiriya is Asia’s best-preserved city of the first millennium, showing complex urban planning around the base of the rock combined with sophisticated engineering and irrigation skills in the palace perched on the summit.Afternoon, visit the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa, the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms, was first declared the capital city by King Vijayabahu I, who defeated the Chola invaders in 1070 A.D. to reunite the country once more under a native leader. Today the ancient city of Polonnaruwa remains one of the best planned Archaeological relic sites in the country, standing testimony to the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom"s first rulers. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. In the evening, return to your hotel.

Day9: Dambulla / Minneriya / Dambulla
After breakfast leave to Minneriya National Park. Located between Habarana and Polonnaruwa, Minneriya is yet another haven for the elephants that migrate from surrounding jungles to enjoy the lush grass fields on the banks of the Minneriya reservoir, during the dry season. Reports of elephant sightings range from an impressive 100 to 200. Endemic monkeys, as well as many residents and migratory bird species, also can be spotted along with endemic reptiles such as the painted-lip lizard. Among the reptiles that dwell here, are the saltwater crocodile, the Indian python, and the water monitor. The central feature of the park is the ancient Minneriya Tank (built in 3rd century AD by King Mahasena). This tank is generally known as a place to observe the elephants that come to bathe and graze on the grasses as well as the huge flocks of birds (cormorants and painted storks to name but a few) that come to fish in the shallow waters. On completion, return to the hotel and relax.

Day10: Dambulla / Kandy
After breakfast proceeds to the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple. (approx. Transfer time: 15 TO 20 MNTS) Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains.There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life. Then we visit a spice garden batik factory in Matale en-route to Kandy. (approx. Transfer time: 1 TO 1 1/2 HRS). Here you will be able to see different spices and aromatics for which Sri Lanka has been famous for centuries.  Thereafter proceed to Kandy and check in to the Hotel (approx. Transfer time: 1 TO 1 1/2 HRS)

Day11: Kandy / Kandy Sightseeing
After breakfast commence a City tour of Kandy visiting the Kandy Market, Kandy upper lake drive, Gem Museum, Arts & Crafts Centre etc. Late afternoon explore the city of Kandy and visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic which is located in the royal palace complex which houses the Relic of the tooth of Buddha. The entire complex is part of another UNESCO world heritage site. On completion of the temple visit witness a cultural dance show. On completion, return to the hotel and relax.

Day12: Kandy/ Negombo
After breakfast leave the hotel and proceed to Negombo where you can enjoy the beach. Once in Negombo, check-in to your hotel and relax. Do a city tour of Negombo in the evening. Negombo is a characteristic fishing town north of Colombo and is a mere 15 km from the international airport. Set amidst lush groves of coconut palms, it breathes the spirit of the sea. Negombo is a gourmet paradise with seafood in plenty. Old - world fishing craft, like the outrigger canoe and the catamaran, bring seer, skipjack, herring, mullet, Pomfret, and amberjack, while lobster and prawn are caught in the lagoon. Return to the hotel on completion.

Day13: Negombo
Today after breakfast, spend the day by enjoying the beach and the hotel amenities.

Day14: Negombo - UK
Today after breakfast, leave for the airport for your return flights to the UK.
