Day 4: Mitai Maori Village Cultural Experience in Rotorua
Enter the world of Mitai Maori Village and embrace our history and culture. Watch our stories unfold through the dynamic scenes of our warriors paddling down Wai-o-Whiro stream, the melodious sounds of our instruments, and entertainment from our performers, including the haka. Satisfy your hunger with the traditional Mori Hangi and conclude your evening with a walk through our forest to see the ancient, fortified village, learning the old ways of living and survival of our people, and discover the natural resource Te Puna a Tuhoe, a freshwater spring. The evening is not over until you glimpse the glow worms light up the banks of the forest as the veil of darkness sets in. Nau mai, haere mai, whakatau mai come and experience our world

Explore the Mori Rock Carvings, one of the most extraordinary contemporary carvings in the world. Only viewable from the water, the likeness of Ngātoroirangi towers 14 meters above Lake Taupō. Powered by the wind, this eco-friendly experience lets you explore nature in its purest form - quiet, clean, and unforgettable. And when the wind picks up and the yacht heels gracefully into the breeze, guests feel that exhilarating surge of adrenaline - a moment of pure connection as they face the raw power of the water. Relax on the large deck space, listen to our experienced skippers and learn about the history of the lake. Give the crew a hand hoisting the sails and take a turn on the wheel or just snuggle in under some blankets. Take a dip and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the largest freshwater lake in Australasia (weather dependent)

Travel in a comfortable van, watch the beautiful countryside go by as we drive from location to location. Sample 4 different local wines at either 3 or 4 different cellar doors. Everything is arranged and booked for you. Do you have a sweet tooth? We can also call into the Chocolate Factory as a free extra if you like. ARRIVING ON A CRUISE SHIP, PLEASE NOTE: -Shuttle buses will bring you from the cruise ship to the Picton Information Centre, and this is where I will be waiting for you. Start times/meeting time may change, so please do keep in contact. This is due to evey cruise ship's arrival time is different.

Day 13: Small Group Mt Cook Day Tour (Hotel Pick-up)
At 3724 metres, Aoraki Mt Cook is New Zealand's highest peak. Located in the heart of the ruggedly beautiful Mackenzie District, it was first summited in 1894 by Tom Fyfe, Jack Clarke, and George Graham and remains a popular ascent to this day. However, as a sacred ancestor for local Ng Tahu iwi, Aoraki is more than just a mountain. He and his brothers' story is arguably one of the South Island's most important Māori legends, speaking to the dramatic formation of K Tiritiri o te Moana (Southern Alps), which have since become home to one of Aotearoa's most beautiful National Parks. So why not join us as we travel to see Aotearoa New Zealand's tallest and most famous mountain.
