Itinerary:

Day 1: Amman/Petra
Pick up in the morning from your hotel in Amman. Drive (2½ hour) to Petra for a 2 ½ hour guided tour. Enter the city via the Siq and see the Treasury and lower part of the city. Then free time to explore, maybe the Monastery "Ad Deir" (900 steps). Overnight at your hotel in Petra.

Day 2: Petra/Wadi Rum/Petra
After breakfast walk into Petra for an independent visit. Maybe climb up to the place of High Sacrifice. Return to the hotel at lunchtime for lunch (optional), then drive south (2 hour ) for a two hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum, also known as The Valley of the Moon, which is a spectacular valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south Jordan. Watch the sunset and enjoy supper in the desert under the stars (weather permitting). Drive back to Petra for an overnight at your Petra hotel.

Day 3: Petra/Dead Sea/Madaba/Mt Nebo/Amman
Breakfast at your hotel then head up north of Jordan to visit Jerash (one hour drive), the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy for a 2 hour guided tour. To this day, its colonnaded streets, baths, theaters, plazas and arches remain in exceptional condition. Drive back to Amman (one hour drive) for a city tour, including a visit to the Citadel, Jordan's National Archaeological Museum, the Roman theater and Folklore Museum, souks and modern city and overnight at your hotel.

Day 5: Amman to Queen Alia International Airport for departure
After breakfast drive to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure and the end of the tour.
