Day 1 Arrive Boston
Depart the UK by wide-bodied jet for Boston (not included). On arrival
collect your car (not included) and drive to your standard hotel situated
in a suburb of Boston, 15 miles from downtown or your first class hotel
situated downtown Boston. Your travel documentation will be available
at your hotel.

Day 2 Boston
Explore the Freedom Trail, ride the Swanboats, shop at Quincy Market,
take a whale watching cruise. Museums, shops, art galleries complete your
visit.
Day 3 Boston to Mid Coast Maine
(107mls) Travel along the coast into Maine. (Stop in Kittery for outstanding
factory outlet shopping!) Visit Kennebunkport and continue to Portland,
an historic city with charming restored waterfront.

Day 4 Mid Coast to White Mountains
(107mls) Journey through the Maine Lakes Region. Stop at North Conway
for fabulous factory outlet stores or travel the Conway Scenic Railroad.
The Mt. Washington Toll Road takes you to the summit of one of the easts
highest mountains.

Day 5 White Mountains to Lake Champlain Area
(110mls) If you spend the night in Jackson or North Conway travel the
Kancamagus Highway to Lincoln. In Vermont, treat yourself to a tour of
Ben & Jerrys Ice Cream Factory before heading to Burlington,
perched on the banks of Lake Champlain.

Day 6 Lake Champlain Area to Green Mountains

and the side wheeler, SS Ticonderoga. Continue south along the edge of
the Green Mountains. Head for Woodstock, a quintessential New England
village with traditional shops and covered bridge. Then, travel back into
the heart of the Green Mountains.

Day 7 Green Mountains to Connecticut River Valley
(174mls) Enroute to Massachusetts, visit Rutland or lovely Manchester
Village. In the Berkshire Hills, visit Francine Clarke Art Institute or
the Hancock Shaker Village, a restored 19th Century settlement. Continue
to
Lenox, summer home of the Boston Symphony and Stockbridge, where Norman
Rockwell Museum houses many of his works.

Day 8 Connecticut River Valley to Newport
(127mls) Visit Old Sturbridge Village, a living 19th Century museum, before
heading to Newport, summer resort to Americas first millionaires.
Tour Ten Mile Drive, with its extravagant summer mansions, explore the
restored waterfronts shops and restaurants.

Newport or Hotel Viking.
Days 9 & 10 Newport to Cape Cod
(75mls) Travel to Cape Cod, with its white sandy beaches and abundance
of attractions. Plan a whale watch cruise, visit the historic village
of Chatham or colourful, artistic Provincetown, or take a day trip to
Marthas Vineyard or Nantucket.

Day 11 Cape Cod to Boston to UK

Your journey ends at Boston Logan Airport where you return your car for
