Day 03: Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
Rome, the "Eternal City," began as a small Iron Age settlement and grew into the center of one of history's greatest empires. Civitavecchia has served as its primary port since Emperor Trajan founded it in the 2nd century. Before boarding the Sirena, you can explore the Michelangelo Fortress, which has guarded the harbor for over 500 years. Day 04: Florence/Pisa/Tuscany (Livorno), Italy

From here, you can journey to Florence to see Brunelleschi's Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery, or to Pisa to stand beneath the legendary Leaning Tower. Day 05: Porto Torres (Sardinia), Italy
Porto Torres sits on the site of the Roman colony Turris Libisonis, once the most important city in northern Sardinia. History lives here in the Basilica of San Gavino, the largest and oldest Romanesque church on the island, which dates back to the 11th century. You can also explore the Antiquarium Turritano, an archaeological museum situated amidst the ruins of Roman baths and ancient streets. For a taste of Sardinias rugged beauty, the nearby Asinara National Park, once a high-security prison islands now a sanctuary for rare white donkeys and crystal-clear turquoise waters.

Day 06: Mahon (Menorca), Spain
Mahn, the capital of Menorca, boasts one of the world's largest natural deep-water harbors. Its unique history is marked by a significant British occupation in the 18th century, which left a legacy of Georgian-style architecture and a local passion for gin at the Xoriguer Distillery. You can wander the narrow, winding streets of the Old Town to see the Church of Santa Maria, home to a massive 3,000-pipe organ. Guarding the harbour entrance is the formidable La Mola Fortress, a 19th-century stone giant that offers spectacular views of the rugged Balearic coastline.

Day 07: Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is a city where Roman walls, medieval Gothic spires, and Antoni Gauds surrealist Modernisme collide. Historically, it was a powerful maritime capital of the Crown of Aragon. Day 08: Sete, France

This authentic fishing port is famous for its network of canals and the vibrant tradition of water jousting. You can climb to the summit of Mont Saint-Clair for a 360-degree view of the Thau Lagoon and the Mediterranean. Visit the Halles de Ste, a bustling covered market where you can try "tielle," a spicy octopus pie that is a local culinary icon, while watching the trawlers glide beneath the towns low-slung bridges.

Day 09: Toulon, France
Toulon has served as Frances premier naval base since the 15th century, sheltered within one of Europe's best natural harbors. Its history is tied to the French Mediterranean fleet, and the National Naval Museum showcases this legacy with incredible ship models and artifacts. You can take a cable car to the top of Mount Faron for a breathtaking panoramic view of the coastline and the French warships below. In the Old Town, explore the vibrant daily market on the Cours Lafayette or wander the narrow streets filled with charming fountains and Provenal boutiques.

Day 10: Monte Carlo, Monaco
Your journey concludes in the glamorous Principality of Monaco, which has been ruled by the Grimaldi family since 1297. Monte Carlo is world-renowned for its luxury, centered around the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo and the elite yachts in Hercules Port. You can visit the Princes Palace to watch the changing of the guard or explore the Oceanographic Museum, founded by Prince Albert I and once led by Jacques Cousteau.
