Itinerary:
Day 1: Western Sicily
Arrival in Palermo (airport or port) and accommodation in the hotel of the planned location (room delivery from 02:00 pm). Before dinner, meet with our guide for the welcome cocktail and tour presentation. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Erice - Marsala - Sciacca
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Erice* and orientation tour of the town, with tasting of almond paste desserts. Continue to Marsala, visit of a social winery with tasting. Typical lunch during the excursion and in the afternoon proceed to Sciacca and stop for a walk. At the end continue to Agrigento and hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.
*In case of closure of roads that will prevent the reaching of the town, this excursion will be replaced with a visit to Trapani.
Day 3: Valle Dei Templi - Piazza Armerina
Breakfast at the hotel and departure and visit of the Valley of the Temples. Continue to Piazza Armerina, a typical lunch during the excursion. Following visit of the Roman Villa. At the end departure for the Eastern area and hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Etna - Taormina
Half board at the hotel. Excursion on the Etna with bus up to 1900 mt. and possibility of excursion (with supplement) in 4x4 buses and authorized guide for the visit of the main craters. Honey tasting. Lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon visit of Taormina and the Ancient Theater. Free time for shopping. Return to the hotel and overnight stay. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the ascent to Mount Etna will be limited up to 700 meters. with a stop at Zafferana Etnea and the possibility of seeing the casting of 1992.
Day 5: Syracuse - Noto
Half board at the hotel. In the morning departure for Syracuse and visit of the historical center (Ortigia) with the temple of Minerva and the Fountain of Arethusa. The Greek Theater, the Roman Amphitheater, the Latomie and the Ear of Dionysus. Lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon proceed to Noto, walk in its historic center. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 6: Catania - Cefalu
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Catania and walk in its historic center. Free time for shopping. Brunch with arancino or ice cream or granita with brioches (depending on the season). Continue to Cefalù, lunch during the excursion and visit of the town. Free time for shopping. Departure for the Western area. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Palermo - Monreale
Half board at the hotel. Visit to the center of Palermo, the Duomo and the Cloister of Monreale. Lunch. Free time in the center. * Return to hotel and overnight stay.
*From 01 June to 14 September the free time in the center will be replaced by the stop for the bathing in Mondello.
Day 8: Western Sicily
Breakfast at the hotel and end of services.
