Itinerary:

Day 1: Flight to Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver-guide. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight: The Tamarind hotel (B&B)

Day 3 Nairobi - Samburu
After breakfast depart for the famous Samburu National Reserve... Drive north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve. Lunch before a late afternoon game drive. Overnight: Samburu Game Lodge (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Day 4 Samburu
Morning and late afternoon game drive in this open savannah which is traversed by the Ewaso Nyiro River. The river is populated by hippos and crocodiles, whilst the park is home to a host of animals, including several species which are rarely seen in numbers elsewhere, including Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffes, and long-necked gerenuks. Overnight: Samburu Game Lodge (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Day 5 Aberdares
After breakfast drive towards Aberdares. Arrive in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon viewing game from the lodge, Overnight: Aberdare Country Club. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 6 Lake Nakuru/Naivasha
After breakfast, descend into the Great Rift Valley and continue to Lake Nakuru Lodge. Arrive in time for Lunch. Late afternoon 1 hour boat ride. Overnight : Lake Naivasha Country Club. (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

Day 7 Masai Mara
Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Overnight: Masai Mara Keekorok Lodge (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 8 Masai Mara
Treat yourself to a Masai Mara Balloon. Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Alternatively, take an early morning balloon flight over the Mara followed by a 'bubbly' bush breakfast (optional extra). After lunch, relax before a late afternoon game drive. Overnight Masai Mara Keekorok Lodge. (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 9 After breakfast, return to Nairobi by road.
