18th March 2020: Airport / Ahangama 
You will be warmly welcomed by your chauffeur guide who will guide you throughout the tour.
After the formalities at the Airport, leave for your first hotel. (Approximately 2hrs drive) Once reached, check-in to the hotel and relax.

24th March 2020: Ahangama / Koggala / Galle / Weligama / Udawalawa
After breakfast, proceed to Koggala. (Approx. transfer time: 20mins)
And visit a Turtle Hatchery in Koggala. The Turtle Hatchery opened in 1996, buys turtle eggs from the fishermen in an attempt to discourage them from poaching & selling the eggs for food. Witness how the newborn turtles are being cared for until they are ready to be released back to the ocean. The wide sandy beaches that exist round the island of Sri Lanka are utilized by several of the marine turtles for laying their eggs. The commonest of these are the Loggerheads and the Leathery turtle while the green turtle is a less common visitor.


On completion, proceed to Galle Fort and commence a sightseeing tour. (Approx. transfer time: 30mins)


Galle is a coastal town where the Dutch presence is still visible. Galle was an ancient port (said to be the legendary Tarshish of the Bible), and our first international commerce and trade centre. Today, Galle is the bustling provincial capital and administrative centre of the south. It is famous for its lovely Unawatuna Bay, where the sea is reef protected and therefore safe for swimming. The old Dutch “Star Fort” (a World Heritages Site) covering 36 hectares, the well-preserved Groote Kerk (Dutch Church), Dutch Government House, the New Oriental Hotel (built in 1684) old bell tower and a tide-based Sewage-System, also introduced by the Dutch. In Galle they still make the Dutch ‘pillow-lace’ and do fine ebony carving and gem polishing.
On completion,you will witness the most famous “Stilt Fishermen of Sri Lanka” in Weligama.


On completion, proceed to Udawalawe and check-in to the hotel. Relax.

25th March 2020: Udawalawa Safari / Kandy
Today, embark on a wild safari in Udawalawe National Park.
The park is located approximately 200 km south-east of Colombo city and is a major eco tourism destination in Sri Lanka. The 30,821 hectares dry zone game park has an annual rainfall of 1524 mm and an average temperature of 29.4°C. It is most famous for the many elephants that live there (about 400 in total). During a visit, it is not unusual to see whole herds of adults and young elephants feeding or bathing and playing in the water! In addition to this main attraction, the park is home to many water buffalo, water monitor lizards, sambar deer, monkeys and the occasional leopard, as well as being an exciting location for bird enthusiasts.


On completion, head to Kandy and check-in to the hotel.

26th March 2020: Kandy Sightseeing - Tea Factory / Mawanella / Colombo
Commence a sightseeing tour of Kandy – The Hill Country’s Capital.


Kandy, perhaps is Sri Lanka’s most beautiful town. Set 488 meters above sea level, Kandy is Sri Lanka’s most visited place after Colombo. The focal point of the town is the golden-roofed ‘Dalada Maligawa’, where the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha is enshrined. There are numerous shrines and temples in and around Kandy, where you will see rare paintings, frescoes, and stone carvings.


Attractions within Kandy: Temple of the Tooth Relic
Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It is located in the royal palace complex which houses the Relic of the tooth of Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhalese kings and is a UNESCO world heritage site partly due to the temple. Thereafter you will have the time to do some shopping in Kandy, where you could fetch souvenirs in wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony, bronze, ceramics, lacquer work, handlooms, batiks, jewelry and reed-ware at bargain prices! Next- Sightseeing of Kandy with Upper lake drive, Market square etc.
On completion, visit “Giragama Tea Factory”


Enjoy a hot cup of pure Sri Lankan tea.
On completion, proceed to Colombo. En-route, visit a spice garden in Mawanella and enjoy a head & shoulder massage for 15minutes and a traditional Sri Lankan style lunch. (Approx. transfer time: 30mins)


On completion, continue to proceed to Colombo and check-in to the hotel.

After breakfast, commence a city tour of Colombo.

Many visitors appreciate the city’s colonial heritage and enjoy the vast range of fine shopping and dining outlets that can be located within the rush of its urban buzz.
On completion, return to the hotel and relax.

28th March 2020: Colombo / Airport
Today you will be transferred to the Colombo Airport to catch your flight home, accompanied with all the happy memories of the Resplendent isle; Sri Lanka once known as TAPROBANE.
