Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, meet, and transfer to Eka hotel. Overnight: Eka hotel B&B


Day 2: Nairobi city tour:

Day 3: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park: (160 km – Approx. 3 hours)
08:00 hrs. Pick up: Eka hotel. We’ll head out over the highlands of central Kenya and take breaks to see coffee and tea plantations. There will also be a special treat – a stop at Karatina – the largest open-air market in East Africa. The look of Aberdare Park is deep green, anchored by forested mountains and wild moorlands. You’ll be staying in a Tree Hotel with balcony views of the park and a nearby watering hole. Look there for sightings of elephants, spotted hyenas, baboons and monkeys, buffalo, and warthogs. Further afield the park boasts sightings of the giant forest hog, golden cat, and the bongo, a large antelope.
Enjoy your evening with a treetops’ view of the wildlife below in this very different African wildlife park.

Day 4: Aberdare – Lake Naivasha ( Approx. 5 Hrs)
Later proceed to Lake Naivasha on a leisurely drive. There shall be a stop to view the scenic Thompson falls at Nyahururu. The drive via farming country and homesteads via the Great Rift Valley escarpment edge is scenic. Continuing, we’ll arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for Lunch. Spend the afternoon along the shores of Lake Naivasha.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara: 240 km (Approx. 5-6 Hrs)
After breakfast depart for the world-famous Masai Mara Reserve. Our drive will take us past the dramatic rises and gorges of the Great Rift Valley, passing through Masai country. The Masai Mara impresses visitors with its vast spaces but also with its amazing displays of wildlife, said to contain the greatest density of lions in the world. We’ll arrive at the great park with plenty of time for an afternoon game drive. Over its rolling green hills and golden savannahs, we’ll be looking for the big cats, elephant, giraffe, ostrich, warthog, plus buffalo, and more.

Day 6: Masai Mara – Full day
We’re at the greatest wildlife park in the world so let’s get up early to enjoy it! We’ll see the light breaking over the reserve, with fresh tracks of wildlife impressed on the morning dew. The sun’s rays breaking through the park’s many iconic acacia trees signal new beginnings and great possibilities. This is a day of unlimited game drives and fulfilling exploration. Sightings of lions are common on these plains and we will track the mighty creatures. The park is also known as the place where the greatest movement of animals on the planet occurs – the Great Migration. If you are here during the migrating season (July – October) you’ll be witness to thousands and perhaps tens of thousands of gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra pouring into the park over the Mara River. We’ll enjoy lunch by the river and if in season, watch the torrent of wildlife flood into the park. Also, nearby, We'll look for hippos and crocodiles in their river habitat. Rounding out your first-hand experience here, we offer several optional activities: Visit the local Maasai tribe at their village. See their lifestyle and culture up close and take in their colorful ceremonies. For the ultimate safari, hop aboard a hot air balloon for a pre-dawn ride over the park. You’ll see the sunlight up the savannah while the park comes alive below. This is an inspiring and unforgettable moment you’ll be talking about for years. Just ask your driver/guide to make the arrangements.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Serengeti Game reserve (appr. 370km 6-7 hrs with stops)
Depart Masai Mara and proceed to the Serengeti in Tanzania. The drive is via the Isebania Kenya / Tanzania border town. The Serengeti shares the same ecosystem with the Masai Mara game reserve. Ideally, Masai mara is the smaller extension of the Serengeti It is well located for game viewing drives together with optional activities including guided nature / birdwalks. Afternoon game viewing drives at the Serengeti.

Day 9: Serengeti Game Reserve

A full-day game viewing drives as we explore this vast nature-endowed wildlife reserve. Options of morning and afternoon or full-day game-viewing sessions are available to you. The annual wildebeest migration is Serengeti’s most famous attraction. It is also home to a pride of its lions which have been fitted with radio transmitter collars so that their movements may be tracked. Other wildlife you may see includes cheetah, zebra, giraffe, Thompson and Grant’s gazelle, Eland,
Impala, Klipspringer, Hippo, and Warthog.

Day 11: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater (200km: 3-4 hours)
Depart the Serengeti with a game viewing drive en-route. Descend to the floor of the crater for game viewing in this unique caldera park. We shall look out for Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalo, and Hippo. Later we ascend to the crater rim. Catch a glimpse of the most magnificent sunset views in Africa from the crater rim!

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater
