Villa Major is a lovely traditional Istrian stone house, built in 1860 and completely renovated in 2013. and can accommodated up to 6 persons. Located on the western coast of Istria, in the small place of Marasi, villa Major offers a tranquil holiday experience in rural atmosphere. The nearest grocery store, bakery, ambulance, doctor, bank, fish market and beach can be found in Vrsar, at 8,5 km (12 min drive) distance from the villa. The house is placed at only 8 km distance from the famous Lim Fjord. Now the natural species have been augmented by farmed mussels and oysters which are on offer in two excellent restaurants on the channel.

The villa would suit a large family or couples/friends who wish to experience the peace and quiet of rural Istria, yet be within easy reach of historical cities and beaches. Areas of interest within the area include the Medieval Hill top towns of Motovun and Groznjan as well as the seaside towns of Porec, Rovinj, Vrsar and Pula. A day trip to Venice and Brijuni islands ar recommended excursions that are available from this region.
