Day 1: Colombo Airport
On arrival to the main terminal you will be greeted by our chauffer guide and accompanied to the awaiting vehicle in order to transfer to your hotel in Colombo. (Approximately 45 minutes ‘drive) Colombo is located on the west coast of the island and adjacent to Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, the capital of Sri Lanka. It was formerly the political capital of Sri Lanka, before Sri

Day 3: Colombo, Kandy
Breakfast in the hotel and leave for Kandy. (Approximately 3 1⁄2 hours ‘drive) Often referred to as the hill capital of Sri Lanka, Kandy offers a diverse variety of experiences to its visitors ranging from history, culture and simple scenic beauty coupled with a touch of urbanity. It was the last Sinhalese Kingdom that fell under British rule in 1815. Close to the city’s centre is the prime landmark - Sri Dalada Maligawa that houses the sacred tooth relic of Buddha. Apart from the ancient monuments of the Kandyan era, the delightful jumble of antique shops and the bustling market in the city also make up for interesting places of visit. Day 5: Kandy, Breuwala
Breakfast in the hotel and leave for Beruwala. (Approximately 4 1⁄2 hours ‘drive) Another scenic, beach town – Beruwala is quite a short drive away from Colombo, located just 53 km from the capital. This small, beach town is ideal for a day trip where one can absorb the daily life of locals. The wide, alluring coastal line richly embedded with coconut groves are only part of its charm. The Beruwala fishing harbour is loaded with interesting sights in the wee hours of the morning as the fishing boats come ashore with the day’s catch. The stark white minarets of the Kachimalani Mosque located at the Northern edge of the town also make up for perfect snapshot views. Arrive and check in at the hotel.
