Day 1: Arrival Bali
Transfer Bali Airport – Sanur
Sanur is a seaside town in the southeast of the island of Bali, in Indonesia. Its long stretch of beach offers shallow waters. Colorful jukung fishing boats rest on the sand, backed by a paved cycling path. The Pura Blanjong temple is built from coral and has inscriptions dating from the 10th century. The leafy main street Jalan Danau Tamblingan is lined with art galleries and restaurants.

Day 2: Sanur

Day 3: Sanur - Munduk
Today it is time to head to the mountainous region of North Bali. A car with private driver picks you early mornings up and brings you to the Balinese village of Munduk. The itinerary we choose follows a beautifull road and stops amongst others at the famous sea temple Tanah Lot, usually visited during sunset but virtually deserted and equally charming in the morning. Further visits include the refined temple Pura Taman Ayun and the stunning rice-terraces of Jatiluwih. Via lakes Brinan (with beautifully situated temple Pura Ulun Brinan), Tamblingan and Buyan we arrive in Munduk late in the afternoon. Munduk is a typical Balinese village, with its village-temple, busies morning-market and Balinese houses. The villagers make their living growing cloves and rice so there are rice-terraces and clove-plantations as far as the eye can see. This area is ideally suited for long and short hikes

Day 4: Munduk - Ubud
AM Walk Munduk (2-3 hours), In the morning a guide takes you for a walk to a waterfall, leading you past rice-fields with beautiful views. Walk along the riverbank, finally arriving at Red Coral Waterfall. Continue this energizing trek to arrive at stunning and soothing Laangan, the highest waterfall in Bali. Afterwards, return to Munduk via a different path with home and spice gardens on the way. In the afternoon you will continue onto Ubud.

Day 5: Ubud
Free Day Ubud.
The town of Ubud, in the uplands of Bali, Indonesia, is known as a center for traditional crafts and dance. The surrounding Ubud District’s rainforest and terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes. Ancient holy sites include the intricately carved Goa Gajah (“Elephant Cave”) and Gunung Kawi, with its rock-cut shrines, also famous for its yoga retreats and Spas. Ubud also offers a wide range of restaurants serving the most incredible Indonesian and western food. The monkey forest is a great place for children to get up close and personal with the monkeys. Be careful you don’t let them come too close! You can also attend a dance performance at the Ubud Palace.

Day 6: Ubud
AM bike trip Ubud Get an early start to beat the heat and prepare yourself for an exciting day of exploring on two wheels! Bike through the beautiful surroundings of Ubud to explore small villages, rice terraces, family temples and women dressed in colorful dress (sarong). Learn more about the rice growing process. Take a closer look at one of the many spirit houses or visit a local market. You might even stumble upon one of the traditional Balinese ceremonies. You will be invited by a local to join a local family for lunch. After this day of exploring you will be transferred back to your hotel in Ubud.

Day 7: Ubud - Senggigi
AM transfer Ubud – Padang Bai by Car (based on share) and by fast boat to Lombok. On arrival in Lombok you will be transfer by car to your hotel in Senggigi .

Day 8: Senggigi - Tetebatu
This morning you are free to relax. In the afternoon we arrive in Tetebatu, a small village situated on the foot of sacred Gunung Rinjani, which soars 3726m above sea level and is the second highest volcano in Indonesia. The beautiful surroundings and natural attractions make this one of the major attractions of Central Lombok.

Day 9: Tetebatu
Walk Lendang Nangka – Lunch Pringgasela – Masbagik and Loyok Today we trek through rice-paddies and tobacco fields towards Pringgasela, a small village with ancient weaving traditions. During a walk through the village you will see how they weave the songkets by hand. A delicious traditional Sasak meal will be prepared for you. After lunch you drive to Lenek, where you will see a traditional dance performance. Don’t be surprised to see the entire village leave their homes to welcome you! On the way back to Tetebatu, you will visit Masbagik where they still make pottery in a traditional way.

Day 10: 2017 Tetebatu - Senaru
This Morning you will drive to Senaru, on the way be will stop in Sembalun. Sembalun is Famous for its Tagline “ A Paradise on the Slopes of Mt Rinjani”. Sembalun is home too fruit, vegetable and rice fields; these are very important sources of the livelihood of the locals. Here you will have a chance to walk around. After you will continue to your hotel in Senaru.

Day 11: Senaru – Gili Meno
AM Panorama walk A project from the New Zealand government trained local women to be a guide. One of them will guide us on this easy and interesting walk. You will have some great views while walking along local trails through bamboo forest towards an open landscape of rice terraces. On the way you will visit traditional villages and you learn more about the colorful life of the Sasak people.

PM Transfer to Gili Meno, the perfect place to enjoy the white sandy beaches and to look back on your experiences of the last days. It offers a good mix of place to relax and places to hang out to have a drink and a bite while enjoying the views.
