Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Toronto
Take an independent transfer to hotel where you will check in with your tour director.

Overnight in Toronto.

Day 2: Toronto
Experience the sights and sounds of this cosmopolitan city as we explore the downtown and residential areas of Toronto. Drive along the harbour front and pass by the Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome) and the CN Tower.

Day 3: Toronto to Montreal
Passengers must check in with the tour director at 07:00 at the Delta Chelsea Hotel, Toronto. This morning we will depart for Montreal following the north shore of Lake Ontario towards our first destination, the Thousand Islands resort region, for a relaxing cruise before we continue our journey to Montreal.

Day 4: Montreal
After breakfast we depart on a tour of Montreal visiting the Olympic Complex, charming Old Montreal, McGill University, the residential streets of Mount Royal and the bustling shopping streets. The rest of the day is free.

Day 5: Montreal to Quebec City
We depart Montreal following the route of Canada's first carriageway, the Chemin du Roy, deep into French Canada. Upon arrival in Quebec City, we tour within the walls of the old city and view Lower Town, the Citadel, Battlefields Park and the ornate city gates.

Day 6: Quebec City
Today is free to further explore this historic city or take an optional full day excursion to Tadoussac including a 3-hour whale-watching tour and a visit to the spectacular Montmorency Falls.

Day 7: Quebec City to Ottawa
This morning we travel west towards Ottawa with a stop for lunch at the Sucrerie de la Montagne an authentic sugar shack and pioneer-style restaurant. On arrival in Ottawa we embark on a tour, viewing the Parliament Buildings, the Rideau Canal (designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site), and much more.

Day 8: Ottawa
This morning we will enjoy the Turtle Island aboriginal experience breakfast on Victoria Island. The afternoon is free for independent exploration of Ottawa.

Day 9: Ottawa to Midland
Our journey west from Ottawa features sparkling lakes, rushing streams, deep forests and characteristic northern towns. We will visit Algonquin Provincial Park and take a walk along the scenic trails after which we will continue into the Muskoka resort region, our destination for the night.

Day 10: Midland to Niagara Falls
This morning, we have breakfast upon arrival at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons, a fascinating three-acre historic site. We then continue our journey to Niagara Falls where a thrilling boat ride on the Maid of the Mist brings us to the foot of the thundering waterfalls. Take a ride to the top of the Skylon Tower providing a spectacular view of the falls and the surrounding district of Niagara. The evening is at leisure.

Day 11: Niagara Falls to Toronto
We leave Niagara Falls this morning driving through the scenic Niagara Parkway to the historic village of Niagara-onthe-Lake to see a small but thriving community, proud to display a carefully-preserved nineteenth-century atmosphere. This afternoon completes the tour with a short drive back to Toronto. The evening features our special Farewell to Canada dinner at the CN Tower.
