Itinerary:

Day 1: Flight from London

Day 2: Arrive at Lusaka International Airport
You will be met by our Representative who will assist you to the vehicle for your road transfer to your accommodation.
Road transfer to Protea Hotel – approximately 30mins

1 night at the Protea Lusaka Hotel before your road transfer to Kafue National Park the next morning. BB
Protea Lusaka Hotel (or similar hotel) located within the Arcades Shopping and Entertainment Complex on Lusaka’s Great East Road, Offering a classic-style décor, all air-conditioned rooms at Protea Hotel include a satellite DSTV and an electronic safe. All units feature a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hair dryer.

Day 3: Road transfer to Kafue National Park in an air-conditioned vehicle – approximately 3 hours 30min
The Kafue National Park is the largest national park in Zambia, covering an area of about 22,400 km² (similar in size to Wales or Massachusetts). It is the second largest park in Africa and is home to over 55 different species of animals. The park is named after the Kafue River. It stretches over three provinces: North Western, Central and Southern Province of Zambia. Kafue National Park popular for the tree climbing Lions

3 nights at Mukambi Safari Lodge is centrally located in the park, right on the banks of the stunning Kafue River and is commonly known as “The Gateway to The Kafue National Park”. Meet Basil the house hippo, he’s become part of the team! FB

Day 6: After your early breakfast at this lodge, your driver will pick you from your lodge reception for your road transfer to Mvuu lodge in the lower Zambezi via Lusaka.
Transfer from Mukambi safari lodge in the Kafue National Park to Mvuu Lodge in the Lower Zambezi is approximately 6hrs.

Day 6: Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia (4092 km²)
It is a park that is still relatively undeveloped: its beauty lies in its wilderness state. The diversity of animals is not as wide as the other big parks, but the opportunities to get close to game wandering in and out of the Zambezi channels are spectacular. The Park lies opposite the famous Mana Pools Reserve in Zimbabwe, so the whole area on both sides of the Zambezi River is a massive wildlife sanctuary

3 nights at Mvuu Lodge close to nature. The Lodge is situated in a secluded location deep within the game rich Chiawa area, next to the Zambezi National Park, opposite the world heritage site of Mana Pools. Indigenous bush surrounds the lodge, wildlife roam freely through the camp, the un-spoilt and abundant river offers phenomenal game fishing.

Day 9: Road Transfer from Mvuu Lodge to Lusaka International Airport - transfer is approximately 4hrs.
Fly from Lusaka International Airport to Mfuwe (fight approximately 1hr 10mins).
Road transfer to Track and Trail River Camp – approximately 30 minutes
The South Luangwa National Park, Zambia (9050 km²) is one of Africa´s last unspoilt wilderness areas with over 40 kinds of mammals and 400 bird species: A true paradise for nature lovers and photographers! 
Track and Trail River Camp is one of the few Zambia lodges that is very closely located to the entrance of the South Luangwa National Park with the advantage that we can be one of the first that enters the park for us to be privileged with the first sightings in the area.

3 nights at Track and Trail River Camp set on the banks of the Luangwa River overlooking the South Luangwa National Park. The camp is made up of 9 chalets scattered along the river bank or surrounded by natural vegetation.
