According to some yogic masters, the technology is twenty-five thousand years old the originated in India. During the archaeologic excavations in Mohenjo-Daro artifacts radiocarbon dated back more than 4,000 years were dicovered that show men sitting in classic yoga postures. This yoga tour takes you through the various yoga teachings under our trained yoga teacher. For the beginner our program offers a beginner’s course about yoga and for the regulars in yoga it gives depth knowledge.
Itinerary :
Day 1
Arrive Delhi, welcome, meet and assist at the airport and transfer to Hotel Oberoi Maidens.
Overnight stay.
Day 2
Delhi/Haridwar, by train, In time transfer to railway station to board train for Haridwar. Upon arrival transfer by Rickshaw (Rickshaw Ride) to Hotel The Haveli Hari Ganga. Later, you will have an introduction
with your yoga instructor to discuss your prior knowledge about yoga and for your yoga sessions to be held from next day onwards. Evening vist Har Ki Pauri to witness Ganga Aarti (prayer in devotion of Holy river Ganges). Overnight stay.
Day 3
Haridwar (Sightseeing). Morning and evening yoga sessions with your yoga instructor. Afternoon sightseeing of the religious town visiting Chandi Devi temple by cable car, Mercury Shivlinga temple and Daksh Mahadev temple. Evening walk down to Har Ki Pauri or enjoy your Ayurvedic massage in the Spa of the Hotel (Ayurvedic Spa is optional and on direct payments). Overnight Stay.
Day 4
Haridwar/Rishikesh/Haridwar, by surface (25 Kms one way, 45 mins). Morning and evening yoga sessions with your yoga instructor. Afternoon excursion to the bith town of Hatha yoga - Rishikesh. Visit Ramjhula, Lakschmanjhula and various yoga ashrams in the town. Overnight stay.
Day 5
Haridwar (Rajaji National Park) Morning and evening yoga sessions with your yoga instructor. Afternoon visit Rajaji National Park (Chilla) for jeep safari (elephant safari subject to availability). Rajaji National Park is famous for its wild elephants (also known as tuskers).
Overnight stay.
Day 6
Haridwar, (Patanjali Yog Peeth). Morning and evening yoga sessions with your yoga instructor. Afternoon visit Patanjali Yog Peeth that is and instituation for treatment and research on Yog and Ayurveda setup by
famous yoga teacher Swami Ramdev Maharaj ji. Overnight stay.
Day 7
Haridwa/Delhi, by train. Morning yoga sessions with your yoga instructor. Day at leisure for souvenier shopping or to explore town on your own. Evening transfer to railway station to board train for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi transfer to Hotel Oberoi Maidens.
Overnight stay.
Day 8
Delhi/Onward journey In transfer to international airport to board flight for onward journey.
