General Information:

Austrian Airlines commenced its flying operations on 31 March 1958 with four Vickers Viscount 779 planes on the Vienna - London route. Lauda Air began in 1979 with charter flights on two small Fokker 27 planes. On 1 April 1980, Tyrolean Airways started flying from Innsbruck to Vienna and Zurich with a Dash 7.

Today, as the leading Austrian airline group, fly to 130 destinations in 66 countries on all five continents, with a total of 102 aircraft.are a member of the global Star Alliance and focus our activities strongly on Central and Eastern Europe. Economy

Longhaul Scheduled Economy Class
With legroom of around 80 cm and seat width of some 44 cm, all passengers from Economy Class upwards will find it easy to get comfortable and watch their favourite film. If you get tired, lean your seat back to an angle of around 120 degrees and doze off before the others.

Shorthaul Scheduled Economy Class
On seats with an average width of 45 cm and 76 cm of space between you and the next passenger, Economy Class gives you more than enough room to make yourself comfortable. If you should feel like taking a nap, we've built our seats to incline to around 118 degrees. Just right.

Business

Longhaul Scheduled Business Class
Sleep as if you were floating on air ... with seats that incline by 143 degrees on an Airbus aircraft and 135 degrees on a Boeing aircraft, a seat width of 49 cm and legroom of 150 cm (Airbus) or anything up to 127 cm (Boeing) - as well as a comfy pillow and warm blanket - you'll sleep as if you are at home in your own bed ... or you can enjoy a good book under your personal reading lamp.

Shorthaul Scheduled Business Class
On seats with an average width of 47 cm and 83-86 cm of space between you and the next passenger, Business Class gives you more than enough room to relax with a good menu and a glass of wine. If you feel like taking forty winks, we've built our seats to incline to around 118 degrees. Just right.
