State Map of New Brunswick

Introduction

Find out why everyone''s talking about New Brunswick! An afternoon in the shade of a sidewalk cafe. Strolling tranquil country lanes. Visiting a show of local artists. Or discovering that perfect piece of pottery. New Brunswick embraces that perfect blend of the contemporary with the classic!

Where else could you find world-class cities only moments from incredible natural wonders - the world''s highest tides, winding rivers that stretch for days, or one of the last pristine sand dunes on the eastern shore. Shop for crafts! Eat lobster! Take a carriage ride! Enjoy dinner theatre and then end the day in a downtown hotel or tucked away in a cozy seaside inn or a luxurious B&B. There are so many wonderful ways to stay in New Brunswick.

Located on Canada''s east coast, the province of New Brunswick shares a border with Quebec and Nova Scotia as well as Maine in the northeastern United States.

New Brunswick, the largest of Canada''s three Maritime provinces, is nestled under Quebec''s Gaspe Peninsula and beside the State of Maine. Its northern border also includes the Restigouche River and the Baie des Chaleurs. The eastern boundary is entirely coastal - the Gulf of St Lawrence and Northumberland Strait - and delightfully dotted with warm, sandy beaches...the warmest salt water north of Virginia. Chignecto Bay and the 24-kilometre (15-mile) wide Isthmus of Chignecto, which connects New Brunswick to Nova Scotia, form part of New Brunswick''s southern border. The rest of it is the Bay of Fundy. Its tides - the highest and wildest in the world - have carved a spectacular coastline. New Brunswick is also connected to Prince Edward Island by the world-famous Confederation Bridge.
