Introduction
Chase is known as the gateway to the Shuswap, situated at the southern end of Little Shuswap Lake.
During the days of the Canadian Pacific Railway, Chase functioned as a turnaround terminal for steam engines used to power eastbound trains over the hill on the east side of town. Chase offers it's visitors beaches, campsites, dock and boat launch facilites.

Location: Chase is located on the Trans-Canada Highway 1, at the confluence of Little Shuswap Lake and the South Thompson River, approximately 36 miles (58 km) northeast of Kamloops and 28 miles (45 km) northwest of Salmon Arm.
